Ikerbasque and the Chair for Scientific Culture are working together on the organisation of the UPV/EHU summer course, “Science and Health: Other Views”. This course will be held from 27th to 29th June at the Miramar Palace, in Donostia-San Sebastian. The aim of the course is to address some of the unexpected relationships between health and science, and in doing so, provide the participants with some elements to judge with respect to other views of health and science, which they have probably never had the chance to know before. Prior registration on-line or by filling in the registration form and sending the PDF by mail is compulsory to attend the course.

Ikerbasquek eta Kultura Zientifikoko Katedrak UPV/EHUren “Zientzia eta Osasuna: Beste begirada batzuk” udako ikastaroa antolatzen parte hartu dute. Ikastaro hau Donostiako Miramar Jauregian izango da ekainaren 27 eta 29 bitartean. Ikastaro honen helburua da osasunaren eta zientziaren arteko ezusteko harreman batzuetaz mintzatu eta bertaratutakoei ziur aski ezagutuko ez duten osasunaren eta zientziaren beste begirada horiekiko judizio osagaiak ematea. Ikastaroan parte hartu ahal izateko, derrigorrezkoa izango da aurretiazko matrikula egitea, online bidez edo inprimakia betez, eta PDFa bidali beharko da.

Ikerbasque y la Cátedra de Cultura Científica colaboran en la organización del curso de verano de la UPV/EHU “Ciencia y Salud: Otras miradas”. Este curso tendrá lugar entre el 27 y 29 de junio, y se impartirá en el Palacio Miramar de Donostia-San Sebastián. El curso tiene como objetivo abordar algunas de las relaciones inesperadas entre la salud y la ciencia, y proporcionar a los y las asistentes elementos de juicio respecto esas otras miradas de la salud y la ciencia, que muy probablemente, no habían tenido ocasión de conocer. Para poder acudir al curso será necesario realizar la matrícula previa, ya sea vía online o rellenando el impreso de matrícula y enviando el PDF.

“The sea and renewable energies and the contribution of Naval and Oceanic Engineering” workshops organised by ENERMAR (PAT18 Marine Renewable Energies, working group of the Spanish Naval and Oceanic Engineers Official Association) will be held on 30th June and 1st July. The event will be held in the Aula Magna at the Bilbao Engineering School and will include prestigious speakers in the field. Registration will be managed by the Ingeniero Jorge Juan Foundation and the price will vary between Professional Registrations (€395) and reduced price for COIN Associates and AINE Associates (€295). There will also be discounts of up to 50% (for the unemployed or participants in the ENERMAR Award) as well as discounts for companies (10% for 3 participants in a group and 20% for 5 participants in a group). Apart from that, there will also be grants for UPV/EHU students. These grants will be managed by the Ingeniero Jorge Juan Foundation.

Aipatutako ekitaldia Bilboko Ingeniaritza Eskolaren areto nagusian egingo da, eta gaian aditu handiak ariko dira hizlari gisa. Izen emateak Fundación Ingeniero Jorge Juan delakoak kudeatuko ditu. Ekitaldiarengatik prezio desberdinak ordainduko dira: inskripzio profesionalak (395 €); prezio merkeagoa izango da COIN elkargokideentzat eta AINE elkartekideentzat (295€). Los próximos 30 de junio y 1 de julio tendrán lugar las jornadas “El mar y las energías renovables, La aportación de la Ingeniería Naval y Oceánica”, organizadas por ENERMAR (PAT18 de Energías Renovables de Origen Marino, grupo de trabajo de La Asociación y el Colegio de Ingenieros Navales y Oceánicos de España). El evento tendrá lugar en el Aula Magna de la Escuela de Ingeniería de Bilbao y contará con la presencia de prestigiosos ponentes en la materia.
