About ALCk
The Agirre Lehendakaria Center (ALC) Social Innovation Laboratory was founded in 2013 by the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), in collaboration with AC4-Columbia University of New York. It was created with the aim of understanding and analysing the Basque experience of socio-economic transformation from a systemic and multidisciplinary perspective.
Its main objective is to tackle some of the most complex challenges facing society, by putting the results of its research on systemic transformation into practice.
