320 students from 55 countries for the first edition of Erasmus Mundus in Renewable Energy in the marine environment.

Next 15th April the list of the selected students for the Erasmus Mundus Master REM will be published. 320 candidates have applied, coming from 55 different countries and only 24 will be selected to participate. 12 of those will enjoy a full scholarship that will cover all expenses, including the accommodation costs in the countries where the Master will take place.

This Master is offered by 4 universities: University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU, University of Strathclyde, Norwegian University of Science and Technology and , École Centrale de Nantes.

The master is 2 years long. The first semester will take place in Scotland, the second in Euskadi, the third and depending on the minor chosen in Nantes or in Trondheim (Norway). The students will dedicate the fourth semester to do their Master Thesis that could be done in any of the universities mentioned or in any of the 35 centers associates to the project, amongst which there are private companies’ facilities or research centers.
